This policy explains how Halabi Vision Center (حلبي فيجن سنتر), Jezzine Street, Al Zaatari Building, Abra, Saida, Lebanon (“we”) handles personal information when you visit our center or contact us by phone, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook Messenger.
Information we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number, and your WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger profile name and ID.
- The messages you send us, including text, voice messages and photos (for example a prescription or a corneal topography).
- Appointment requests: the day and time you prefer and the reason for your visit.
- Order information: what you ordered, its status and the delivery date.
- Eye-care records created at the center, such as your prescription and measurements.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and give you information about our services.
- To book, confirm and manage your appointments.
- To tell you when your order is ready and to follow up after you receive it, if you agree to receive messages.
- To keep accurate records of your eye care.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Automated replies
Some replies on our messaging channels are written by an automated assistant that uses artificial intelligence. It answers general questions, records appointment requests and checks order status. You can ask to speak with a member of our team at any time. The assistant does not diagnose and does not give medical advice.
Service providers
To provide these services we use trusted providers that process information on our behalf: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger), OpenAI (to write replies and to transcribe voice messages), Google (to store appointment and order records) and our hosting provider. These providers may process information outside Lebanon. We share only what is needed to provide the service.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and records only for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal obligations, and then we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop sending you messages.
Deleting your data
To delete your data, send the message “Delete my data” to us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger, or call us on 07 750 916. We delete your information within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep part of it, and we confirm when it is done.
Children
Parents or guardians can contact us on behalf of their children. We use children’s information only to provide the eye care and services their parent or guardian asks for.
Security
We protect information with access controls and secure, encrypted services. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
